3D Animation

I used Blender to animate five characters in the game: the player character and four different enemies. All of them had idle animations, attacks, walking cycles and special moves. All of these added up for +30 animation clips on this demo version. I also rigged the characters and imported them into Unreal Engine 5.

Vector Animation

I created a whole set of animations for the main character. These animations include every action he is able to do in several directions: receiving orders, moving, crossing and creating walls, teleporting and of course, catching bugs. I also created animations for the transitions between levels and chapters to extend the dynamic feel of the character to all aspects of the game.

Frame-by-frame

To ensure a smooth and captivating user experience, I animated a series of frame-by-frame and vector elements for Marzanna in order to create movement within the game. I designed the animation for the character and crafted the animation for the ice platforms, thus bringing life to Marzanna’s gameplay. Moreover, I also added animation to in-game visual elements such as assets and items, enhancing the overall visual appeal of the game.

Motion graphics

I have experience animating corporate videos that use shapes and colours to explain ideas. This kind of animation has allowed me to implement animated graphics into UI projects and mockups.
