Game Art

I am currently studying a Master of Arts in Game Design and Development in Aalto University. I am an artist with experience in art direction, character design, illustration, animation and UI design - all combined with a strong vision and enthusiasm to create eye-catching experiences. I have used Unity and Unreal Engine in a variety of game projects, from game jams to more extensive development processes.

Art Direction

With a Master’s Degree in Art Direction, I have the ability to bring creative ideas to life through thoughtful art direction and powerful visual design. I thrive in crafting stories through visuals, applying references, colours, textures, and moodboards. I enjoy creating projects that are adaptive to different platforms and mediums, and I’m passionate about making sure that my designs are both visually attractive and follow a strong concept.

Illustration

Since the beginning of my creative career, I have been perfecting my personal drawing style and honing my skills in illustration. My work has been awarded and it has been featured in videogames, newspapers, books, advertising campaigns, and, of course, I have crafted multiple personal projects. I have experience creating and developing illustrations for different mediums, from concept to completion, making sure they are ready for production.

UI Design

I have participated in numerous UI projects, crafting tailor-made experiences with a focus on responsive design, modular design systems and overall aesthetic. I have experience working closely with developers to create reliable products and to ensure that the projects are implemented with the same level of detail as the prototypes.

Animation

I always strive to go the extra mile, to create unique and innovative projects. Animation is a skill that I have developed during my years working as an illustrator and art director, trying my best to breathe life into my work. Knowing how to animate has also helped me to communicate dynamic ideas as I imagine them. From 3D to frame-by-frame, I enjoy combining different techniques to reach my vision.

    Extensive knowledge and experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, XD and InDesign.

    I have worked on 4 game projects using Unity 2D. I understand how scripts work and I have implemented 2D art in-engine.

    Developed a 3D isometric game in Unreal Engine 5. I created some blueprints and adjusted visual aspects of the game

    Experience using the iPad Pro to create 2D art, Illustration and frame-by-frame animation with production quality.
